Q: The party space I've fallen in love with doesn’t have a kosher kitchen. But my husband's relatives won't come to a non-kosher event. What should I do?

A: According to the owners of several popular New York kosher catering firms, most venues welcome them to come in and “kosherize” their kitchens. This can entail bringing in new dishes, glassware, cutlery and even stoves! (On the other hand, some venues simply don’t allow any outside caterers.) So ask the venue if they'll allow such an arragenment. If not, click here to find the eMitz directory of other party locations and/or caterers in your area.
