Posted:Jul 23,2009-1:07pm Wondering if anyone else is having issues like I am and would love to hear your thoughts! DS's barmitz is in November and already I am having issues with my MIL. (This isn't new, LOL). Basically's she's newly widowed and seeing someone for about 2 months. I'm happy for her. But now she's asking us to invite a large group of his friends plus several of his relatives! I've only met him once and we just don't have the resources. I hate to "engage" with her on sticky issues but how can I get out of this politely. DH is staying hands-off. |

How many people is she asking to bring and how many are you having overall? Maybe she's just trying to make sure shehas a full table.
